Advanced Technologies Global  (European Legal and IP Research)

Advanced Technologies Global (formerly DL Legal). Back in 2004, DL Legal LLP were solicitors and specialised in advice to technology, audio-visual and information technologies companies. Since then ATG have ceased to be a solicitors firm and the company has evolved to take over all of the aspects of pure research arising in relation to European Projects and pure research requests from commercial bodies and operations which are not regulated under the solicitors regulatory regime and changed its trading style to Advanced Technologies Global.

As part of a restructuring, it is expected that future research projects will fall under a new LLP known as Advanced Technology IPR Solutions Ltd (European Legal and IP Research) ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) and that Advanced Technologies Global will simply complete project and research obligations to date under the banner Advanced Project Europe Group, Inter-Associates ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. ATG preferred secondment staff have experience in a wide number of European and International Projects and all staff are based in geographic Europe and we have English, Italian and Russian speakers.

IP RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT

One of ATG's core specialities is the development of collaborative working practices and of Intellectual Property sharing instruments that effectively provide firms and customer organizations  with the ability to manage their Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) in a collaborative structure  in order to share technical data in the context of research and development, and production collaboration. We investigate how, and under what conditions, IPR issues affect the parties and develop processes for 'shared exploitation' of  collaboratively created inventions and developments on a collaborative basis or on a recovery basis or even a contribution basis.

This applies equally whether the exploitation or supply members are small or large supply networks.

We also recommend practices and policies to improve IPR management in such contexts and operate in all sectors and industries including communication industries, technology industries, defence industries, environmental industries and informatics industries.

We have been involved in many collaborative projects and have set up collaborative certification programs and been responsible for external and internal evaluation and development in a significant number of projects and initiatives at European and national level in the the UK, Ireland, Slovenia, USA and Russia.

Following material problems extracting funding from the European Commission in the last 2 projects that ATG have been involved with, where the EC agree critera for funding and then subsequently renege on them, ATG no longer carries out any research where they look to the European Commission for funding. (This does not mean that if you are EC funded, we cannot research for you, but we will not contract direct with the European Commission as they have proven problematic and unreliable - in one case it took 6 years after project completion to extract the  funds from the Commission).
